Wow. 3 and out…. The momentum was set up from the get go with a clutch win on the coin flip by yours truly. Tails! Sammy played first and of course had to bring it to double hill with Sheila E, leaving us biting our nails during the silence before shots. I think I heard the fog forming outside. With a cue from the boys Sammy turned on shutdown mode and did just that. OTSSS. Following ninja playoff strategy G went up next. Lo Ballers mistook G for a six and threw up their 7, Alvarez ‘I cant find my keys’ Neely. Al took an early lead, but G managed to take advantage of the mismatch and won after 4 games. Operation bluetooth hack: successful. Barely standing, Lo Ballers threw up Goo hoping to get a win. No worries, Jesse stepped up to the plate and displayed why the Ninjas are such a dominating force. Game Over. Only the Strong Survive Son. If I were Witts Inn or MC Yacht Club I would be very nervous right now. Either way we like the Lo Ballers new diggs, everyone was very hospitable and Sal’s ribeye plates are simply marvelous. Scuba out.

As the Ninjas enter the last week of the Fall Session, we are statistically guaranteed to make the playoffs. The last regular session game will be held at Sal’s Sports Bar. This is the same team we defeated last year to advance to Regionals(See picture below)

Week 9 of 12

The Ninjas traveled to Outerbanks to play 'Yo Mamas' but Yo Mam & dem were not ready to take on The Ninjas. 'Yo Mamas' forfeited due to personnel issues and The Ninjas were awarded a win. Since there's not much to update this week, I'll provide other updates.

The games played by jesse and yours truly were pretty much the finest examples of shutdown pool the apa has ever seen. seriously. Weisman gets a gold star for destroying a 6 in like 12 minutes flat. Sammy also held strong and won giving us a total of 3 for the night.

Fall Session - Week 4

It was a good night. The Ninjas won 4-1. This gives us great momentum going into the City Cup Tournament (Oct 24/25th @ Boomtown Casino)

Ninjas win 2nd Chance Playoffs

To be fair, it must be stated that the Ninjas did not make the summer session 08 playoffs. The APA had not updated everything at the time of the last post and we were actually in a 3 way tie for fourth, sans tiebreaker, leaving us one measly win away from the playoffs. G, if only you would have won any of those times you lost. So we played Marlene’s Place last night in 2nd chance playoffs and managed to oust them in the final hour. Jeff, G, and I get credit for the W’s. This gives us a spot in the 2nd chance tourney at Boomtown coming up soon. Again we were slackin with pix so just in case anyone isn’t tired of seeing Jeff flex here ya go. Don’t shoot your eye out.
